A 26 feet (8 m) sculpture of Marilyn Monroe in her most famous pose was unveiled on Chicago's Magnificent Mile. It is made of stainless steel and aluminum, and weighs 15.5 tons. Sculptor Seward Johnson is in charge.
Passers wasted no time in putting up the skirt of an exaggerated view of the Monroe metropolitan network in the same position as it appeared in the 1955 film "The Seven Year Itch."

This outrageous tribute to Disney's rum-loving pirate is nearly 9 feet tall and weighs nearly 1000-pounds! Everything is made of scrap metal and old pieces of old computers (like those sculptures Transformers), and the creative minds at Studio Kreatworks in Thailand, he slept with a lot of paint, so no rust. As they refer to him as a "steampunk" sculpture we have not really seen that way. It can consist of a bunch of gear and others, but it really looks like a statue of old-timey metal of us. From a distance, looks like a maze of scaffolding steel pipes crisscrossing through the rotating building. But peer carefully and you will see that the complex engineering and precision is at work behind the grill. It is estimated that the scaffolding of the old North Africa and China. California-based sculpture Andrew Myers is probably one of the artists most patients who live in three-dimensional portraits of his subjects. To create unique portraits, about four feet high, Andrew first spent weeks drilling holes in a piece of wood.
