New details regarding Tecmo Koei’s work in progress for the PlayStation Vita, Dynasty Warriors, have surfaced courtesy of the fan-site, KOEI Warriors. Dynasty Warriors on the PSV is a completely new game and not a port of the recently released Dynasty Warriors 7 for the PS3 and 360 or other spin off titles in the series.
Dynasty Warriors Vita will have its own story mode but nothing like what was seen in DW 7. A character count hasn’t been revealed yet but what we do know is that each character will have one weapon and returning move-sets. Tecmo Koei is also working on a mode similar to the Conquest Mode found in Dynasty Warriors 7 for the Vita version of the game. This mode will utilize a 3G connection that will give players a “variety of content.”
The footage shown at 23 2011 was a tech demo, the full game is currently 30% complete and is scheduled to released in 2012.
